Three(i) Designs Report Amplifying Voices of Young Women of Color
Bold Design Helps Raise Visibility of New CLASP Report: Our Ground, Our Voices
(Washington, DC) -- Real social change happens when marginalized communities are empowered to tell their own stories and lead the charge for equity. That’s why Three(i) Creative Communications was thrilled to provide the design behind a new Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) report, Our Ground, Our Voices: Toward Economic Justice for Young Women of Color.
This report builds from the lived experiences of young women of color and focuses on how race, gender, and their intersection impact the structural barriers they face.
As DC-based CLASP says, “the first step toward equity for young women of color is visibility,” so we were proud to help elevate that platform with a sleek design. Our bold use of color matches the bravery of their candid storytelling, while the font and photos were designed with a mind for reaching younger audiences.
“Design is an integral part of getting any story across,” report designer Kenneth Worles said. “These young women are so inspiring, and as young people of color ourselves, we were proud to help make the design around the report as beautiful as their words.”
Three(i), run by young millennials of color, collaborates with some of the country’s leading advocacy groups and progressive political figures in the fight for a more promising future. The firm also supports local and national organizations and government agencies whose missions we support. We offer services including branding and design, messaging, and outreach with a mind for reaching younger audiences, donors, and voters. More info at www.weare3i.com.
