Graphic Designer - Contractor
Three(i) Creative Communications, a communications firm in Memphis, TN, is looking to contract an experienced graphic designer - who enjoys working with diverse teams to effectively accomplish visual goals for our clients.
THE COMPANY
Three(i) is a team of diverse millennials. We work with non-profit organizations, community development projects, and government agencies. Since our beginning in 2017, we’ve worked with clients like Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Black Immigrant Network, the City of Memphis, Young Democrats of America, The Collective PAC, Congressman Al Green, Latino Victory Fund, and we’re ready for our best year yet in 2022. THE JOB
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support the Art Director in producing and overseeing digital and print creative solutions to address our clients messaging needs.
To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, reports and event flyers.
Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.
Applicants should be creative, hardworking, and passionate about social, civic and environmental issues.
The workload may fluctuate based on the clients’ needs. Work can be done remotely.
As a Graphic Designer at Three(i), you will:
- Support the Creative Director in producing mockups, style treatments, inner page designs and supplementary components for client projects.
- Design and manage client brand assets (logos, style tiles, style guides, illustrations, email templates, reports, website designs, social media graphics and online ads).
- Produce print and online client style guides to document brand standards (messaging, language, colors, fonts, illustration, iconography, etc).
- Assist in creating new company marketing materials, including case studies, social graphics, copy and proofreading for proposals.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that our designs are brought to life and to support with quality assurance (QA) on projects.
- Coordinate some projects independently, working directly with clients where appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and trends in content and marketing (social media, search engine optimization, and user experience in particular).

YOU
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in design
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 5+

Creative Director - Full Time

THE JOB
The Creative Director is responsible for the overall supervision of the agency’s creative product, both design and copy. The creative director interfaces between the client, the account executive and the creative department. The creative director is responsible for taking strategic marketing plans and interpreting them into “big ideas.”
The creative director assigns all creative projects within the agency staff and chooses which freelancers will work on which creative assignments. The creative director approves all creative work before presentation to the client, first reviewing the creative work with the account executive, taking the account executive’s requests for change into consideration. Most of all, the creative director should have a “vision” about the importance of the creative product to the future success of the agency.
As an Creative Director at Three(i), you will:
- Directs the creative product at the agency and strives for excellence in everything from concept to completion of every project on schedule.
- Works closely with account services to solve marketing problems through smart, well-designed advertising and collateral materials that help sell products, and maintain a good image for clients and agency.
- Manages the creative/production department (art directors, copywriters, production artists, etc.).
- Attends creative input meetings (along with the art director/copywriter team) to develop creative strategies and implements all creative requirements including copy, layout, illustrations, final art and photography.
- Confirms client review and delivery schedules with account executive and assigns jobs to the creative team.
- Oversees creative solutions and presents those to account executive for internal approval at a date determined in the initial creative input meeting.
- Directs comp work to assure on-schedule delivery for client review.
- Is called on request of the account executive, or by his/her own request, to “sell” creative at client presentations.
- In concert with production manager, selects vendors for jobs and is involved along with the creative team in signing off on layouts, artwork, photography, in-house proofs, pre-press proofs and press proofs.
- Supervises art directors. Oversees selection and management of all freelance services.
- Interviews and screens applicants for creative positions as well as hiring and terminating.
- Maintains current working knowledge of computer-related skills, software and programs to ensure entire creative department as well as individual staff members remain on the leading edge of essential technology and skills.
- Authorizes hardware and software purchases and notifies the controller/business manager.
- Schedules and authorizes payment for creative team skills training.
- Represents the agency at creative/professional/civic functions.

THE JOB
An Account Manager at Three(i) isn’t just a list maker and status checker. The Account Manager must respond to and resolve client inquiries and requests by recommending actions with a high degree of urgency and accuracy. The candidate for this role should work well in a team environment guided by individual, team and business goals. This individual will interact positively and professionally with internal and external customers, taking initiative and troubleshooting when needed. An understanding of the critical balance between business goals and customer expectations is an asset for this role.
As an Account Manager at Three(i), you will:
- Lead the discovery process with clients, shaping the project approach, goals, and initiation of services.
- Ensure timely, effective communication is happening internally with all team members.
- Build a positive rapport, maintain effective relationships, and proactively communicate the status of services with clients.
- Lead your team to build and manage agile roadmaps and plan upcoming work.
- Support with developing project budgets.
- Anticipate the client’s interests, offering new ideas that will help them achieve their goals.
- Work with our team to continually improve Three(i)’s approach to clients.
- Keep an organized and efficient database tracking communication and service status of each client
- Participate in sales pitches to prospective clients and lead research initiatives to attract potential clients
- Must have a “bent-for-action” attitude, ready to address the needs of existing clients and attract new clients
- Travel occasionally to work on-site directly with clients, usually not longer than 2-4 days at a time.

We are looking for a Wordpress Web Developer to support the Chief Creative Director in producing and overseeing digital and web creative solutions to address our clients messaging needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing Wordpress websites for a variety of clients and companies
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients
- Problem solving for e-commerce clients with full-circle digital marketing solutions
- Communicating design ideas using process flows, sitemaps and wireframes
- Produce and assist in the deployment of online marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, email campaigns, Google Ads, etc.
- Identify and participate in training, conferences, and education and development activities to improve knowledge and performance to sustain and enhance web and digital marketing goals
